These contracts allow high school and middle school organizations to earn funds by making presentations and teaching lessons to elementary school students during the After School program. These contracts are available for summer, fall, and spring semesters, offering opportunities for all groups to earn money for their organizations and recruit future members.

This session provides a practical, up-to-date deep dive into Alabama’s school accountability system, with a focus on the 2025 Alabama State Accountability Technical Guide and the Alabama Report Card. Designed for school and district leaders, instructional coaches, and data teams, this workshop moves beyond surface-level understanding to help participants confidently interpret accountability data and use it to drive strategic improvement. Participants will begin by analyzing 2024–2025 district Report Card data as a foundation for understanding system trends and performance indicators. From there, the session transitions into the 2025 updates to the accountability model, including refined calculations, performance categories, and accountability indicators such as academic achievement, growth, graduation rate, English learner progress, and college and career readiness. Special attention will be given to how scores are calculated under the 2025 framework, what has changed from prior years, and how those changes impact school ratings. Attendees will engage in guided exploration of Report Card categories, including: • Key background and purpose of each indicator • Step-by-step breakdown of calculation methods based on the 2025 Technical Guide • Identification of strengths and gaps within their own data Who should attend: Principals, assistant principals, district administrators, instructional coaches, data specialists, and school leadership teams seeking to strengthen their understanding of Alabama’s 2025 accountability system.
