ACAP Math Part 1: Teacher Experience (TEAMS APPROVED)

This three-hour session focuses on helping teachers prepare students for the ACAP Math portion. Participants will review important ACAP test information, learn about ACAP Math test structure, investigate how to use the ACAP Test Item Specifications to write ACAP-like questions, and explore resources for utilizing ACAP-like questions for instruction and/or assessment. (TEAMS APPROVED)

This three-hour session focuses on developing a plan for instruction using multiple
resources aligned to the 2019 ALCOS: Mathematics standards, ACT, and formative
assessments. Participants need to bring their teacher textbook guide or student
textbook. It might also be helpful if a participant brings district/school pacing guides to
help determine when and how ACAP resources can be used in daily instructional
practices.
