About me
Dr. Bailey brings 24 years of experience in secondary education and five years in administration, with a focus on teacher self-efficacy and student relatedness. Having taught general sciences as well as advanced and full-inclusion science courses — including Biology, Life Science, Physical Science, Environmental, and Earth Science — she brings both depth and versatility to the classroom and the administrative office alike. A graduate of the University of South Alabama who also attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Dr. Bailey embodies a unique blend of Southern roots and Northern charm. Born in the South and raised in New England, she draws inspiration from traveling abroad and engaging with different cultures — a perspective she brings into her work with educators and students. She lives in Baldwin County with her husband and two children and is an aspiring artist, speaker, and author of the new book entitled 180 Days.
