Sue O’Connell has years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher, math coach, and math speaker/consultant. Sue is the lead author of Heinemann’s Math in Practice series (2016), Math by the Book series (2021), and numerous other professional books that support the teaching of K-5 mathematics. She is also the developer of Hand2Mind’s Navigating Numeracy Learning Progression Centers focused on meaningful practice for students in grades K-5. Sue is a nationally known speaker and education consultant who directs Quality Teacher Development LLC, an organization committed to providing outstanding math professional development for schools and districts across the country.
