About me
Kristi Bush serves as a national education consultant and social media safety advocate. She is a licensed social worker with greater than 20 years of clinical practice and health care experience. She attended Troy and Auburn University where she studied social work and counseling. She has contributed and/or co-authored multiple training and development publications, with the primary focus in the areas of direct practice, quality and capacity building. In addition to her clinical work she has extensive experience in social media. It was through her recognition of the education gap between receiving devices and teen use, that KNB Communications was formed. As the mother of two teen boys, she has both a professional and personal appreciation of the power...both positive and negative.... associated with social media. Kristi travels nationally and has spoken with over 100,000 children, parents, professionals and organizations about the benefits and threats associated with social media. She has developed numerous programs that are designed to ensure that anyone at any age can navigate social media safety and responsibly.
